nothing gold

"Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay."

As much as we try to hold on to it, nothing gold can last.

- "Nothing Gold Can Stay" poem by Robert Frost

Yes, I agree, what a perfect pairing, yet again. I forgot how Frost can just take your breath away like that.
