July's passing

July. July. July. It's come, and it's gone.

I associate sunflowers with sunny July and it's hard to see their season come and go as well.

I like this series of pictures. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers and I recently bought one and put it in a pot. It's surviving but not particularly happy. (I'm really NOT a gardener.) Surprisingly, I haven't taken any photos of it, yet. Maybe this weekend.

Yes cataclog.

You must take a photo of your sunflower before it is gone.

What a wonderful series! Are they all the same flower over time, or different flowers at different stages?

No. I didn't plan far enough ahead for it to be the same flower. But, as I was looking through my photos, I realized together they told a story.

I hope all is well on your side of the Atlantic.

Thanks

Yes, an excellent story.

Things are well - getting on a plane tomorrow morning to move back to NYC. Just spent one last morning with the dog on Hampstead Heath, my favorite spot in London. (The dog's coming back with us too, of course. But I'm flying back before she is.)

Where you there on a visit? Does your dog mind flying? And welcome back to the states.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Hope to hear from you again.

Safe flight.

We moved here almost two years ago for my husband's job, and decided it was time to come back. The dog (and two cats) hates flying, I'm sure, but hopefully it's preferable to being left behind. ;)
