goin' nowhere

“Clouds so swift, rain won't lift, Gate won't close, the railings froze.
Get your mind off wintertime, You ain't goin' nowhere.”

- From “You Ain't Goin' Nowhere” by Bob Dylan

- Photo of the LeConte Creek watershed near my boyhood home in Gatlinburg; old snowfall on the ground and a new one moving in. Mt. LeConte is in the photo but hidden, as it often is, by the low moving clouds. But that's just the way it is with that mountain.

Wow must tell you this is one of the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen and the lines by Bob Dylan say it all... Just fantastic.

Is it really that snowy there... I know mountains look beautiful only from distance but I'd love to see that... It seems so full of live. You're one lucky soul if you're experiencing it.

Hello dear Aby.

Good to hear from you. This winter has been colder, harsher and more snowy than usual. We had about two weeks were the temperatures never got about freezing. Just cold and snow.
